Dr. Charles Ruzkowski is originally from Chicago where he attended Chicago Medical School. His residency in Internal Medicine was performed at Loyola-Hines Medical Center. He went on to complete 3 years with the Public Health Service, returning to complete his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Arizona. While at the University he published numerous research articles and was the Assistant Chief of Gastroenterology at the Phoenix VA Hospital. From 1990-2002 he was in practice and on staff at Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Responsibilities there included resident teaching as well as being an Associate Professor of Gastroenterology at the University of Iowa. Dr Ruzkowski performs all endoscopic procedures and has special interest in Colon Cancer Detection as well as endoscopic treatment of gallbladder and liver disease (ERCP). Dr Ruzkowski has lived in Colorado Springs since 2002
