More About Dr. Nevarez
Dr. Nevarez is fluent in two
languages, English and Spanish. He currently serves as Associate Medical Director for
CSHP Urgent Care. He has been a Team Physician at
Harrison High School, where he received an appreciation award, and
also participated in a pre-collegiate program for high school
students at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs. Dr. Nevarez co-authored a report in "Extraction of C13 labeled algae"
used in diabetic research at the University of New Mexico and was Vice Chairman of the Board of
Directors for Franciscan Wellness Programs for mental
health. Born in Deming, New Mexico Dr. Nevarez is married and has
4 children, 4 step-children ages ranging from 7 to 37. He enjoys the outdoors,
hunting, fishing and hiking. He is also a certified diver.
