Carmen’s clinical education during her Master’s program included a variety of areas including Orthopedics, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Pulmonology, and Emergency Medicine. After receiving her Masters, she worked in several Community Health Centers triaging, diagnosing, and treating patients for minor acute illnesses as well as providing some minor surgical procedures. Carmen’s previous achievements in work earned her a place as a Finalist for the Emerging Leader Award for Community Health Centers. She is bilingual in Spanish and is excited to bring her expertise to CSHP’s Rockrimmon team. When she’s not working, Carmen enjoys spending time with her son and her husband. She also enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing and vacationing.
