I was prescribed a medication without any discussion of the risks. When I picked up the Rx, I learned of the serious side effects. Several days later the pharmacist called me to ask how I was doing with the medication. I would have liked my provider to discuss it with me prior to prescribing it.
I( went in for my well-woman checkup. Once I arrived, I was told this procedure is no longer necessary each year. I was not told this when I made the appointment. I was also not provided the normal exam that I would usually get with this, checking of the nose, ears, lymph nodes. Just a simple breast exam is all I was provided.
